Hi y’all, hope you all are having a wonderful and an even more so exciting weekend. This week sure flew by didn’t? So anyways, we wanted to share a post that we found to be helpful and useful for our blog being we are constantly trying to better our it in any and every way we possibly can, and thought perhaps you would like to benefit from it yourself. A blog can always use some tweaking, in our book. Bye for now.
I’m obviously not a professional blogger but I do believe that everyone has something to offer. So here are my best blogging tips! Maybe you’ll get something out of them!
- Purpose
When starting a blog know what you want from it. If blogging is a way for you to vent and talk about things that interest you, you can be really laid back about it. On the other hand if you are hoping to someday make an income out of it you have to be a lot more focused and consistent.
- Content
Your blog’s content must be something you are passionate about. Something you’ll feel proud about once you hit that little update button. Don’t try to write about something that you believe people will like. It won’t work out.
- Photos
Ok you have the great content. Now what? Most people will NOT click on your post if a…

thanks for sharing the post – I liked most of what they suggested – really good for helping us focus a blog – and seriously –
this advice tip was wisdom for life (not just for blog):
“Always listen to others. You might get something from them. When you read a successful blog don’t just look at it. See what they are talking about, how they are saying it and their layout. Everything should be a source of inspiration!”
but I did not like their tip about followers
– cos more is not always better and trying to get some new ones everyday is a stupid pursuit (IMHO)

True, sure you can turn a blog into a business and look at it from that angle but that’s not necessarily what blogging should be mainly about. Instead of putting our focus on followers and how to be the “it” blog so to speak, It’s best to be one others can relate to or what interests them, which end result inspires and motivates fellow bloggers.

“best to be one others can relate to or what interests them”

Your welcome. I’d be happy to, are you looking to buy or edit/alter photos to high resolution? All my photos on m blog are edited through my laptop’s “Snapseed” app & the photo editor that comes with the iPhone.

Happy you dropped by and gave it a read. Purpose and passion is everything when deciding to blog. Without the two, I feel will kind of show through the writing content. Better outcomes come when your heart is fully in-tuned with something.

Wow, thank you! Nope, we are in no means a professional blogger. It all just sort of happened one day when we decided to give it a go and share our journey with others for the fun of it. I really do enjoy it though.

Great advice. It’s hard not to get lost in the gritty social aspect of blogging, and lose your own focus

I’m not sure about writing for passion, not audience preference. I’ve stuck with my writing style for years, but I haven’t found my audience. 🙂

Thanks for the comment. If your having a hard time and trying to engage with a particular audience, my advice would be to try focusing on a certain subject that would attract them. If you’re passionate about what you write about and are happy/content with your writing style and it’s been working for you, then I would just continue how you’ve been doing so. At the end of the day, how you feel is what truly matters.🙂
